Here lies an attempt at revealing the complexity of the world's status quo and the undercurrents of its power dynamics. Follow the journey of the anthology's many characters as they grapple with the throes of grief and apathy, of love and madness, of indifference and longing.

The Cunning Mistress:
A deeply reflective work exploring the life of a mysterious young woman who rises to immense power in the Indian underworld after having spent much of her life in the country's largest brothel in Sonagachi, Calcutta.
The Adventures of Zoya and Mr. Daat:
Defying all concepts of rationality, this is the story of a gangly eleven-year-old orphan who forms an odd, yet highly spiritual and spiritual connection to a djinn she meets at the Bara Imambara, Lucknow.
